VantaShell Refund Policy

Review VantaShell's refund policy for paid subscriptions, licenses, renewals, billing mistakes, and digital purchases.

1. Overview

VantaShell provides access to digital software, account features, licenses, subscriptions, downloads, and related digital services.

Except where applicable law provides otherwise, all paid subscriptions, licenses, digital products, account upgrades, and billing periods are non-refundable after purchase, activation, delivery, or being made available to the user.

Canceling a subscription only stops future renewals. Cancellation does not refund the current billing period. Access to the paid subscription remains active until the end of the period already paid for.

This Refund Policy does not limit consumer rights or any other mandatory legal rights that cannot be excluded by contract.

2. Free Plan

The Free plan does not require a subscription payment. Because no payment is collected for Free plan access, there is no amount that can be refunded for use of the Free plan.

3. Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected billing period.

After a paid subscription is purchased, renewed, upgraded, activated, or made available to the account, the payment is non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law or where VantaShell confirms a billing error, duplicate charge, or payment processing issue.

If the user cancels the subscription, the account will keep access to the paid features until the end of the billing period already paid for. After that period expires, the subscription will no longer renew, and the account may return to the Free plan or another available plan.

4. No Prorated Refunds

VantaShell does not provide prorated refunds, partial refunds, or credit for the unused portion of a subscription.

This means that if you cancel your subscription before the end of the paid period, you will not receive money back for the remaining days, weeks, or months. Paid access will continue until the already paid billing period expires.

5. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically unless they are canceled before the renewal date.

Renewal payments are non-refundable, except where applicable law provides otherwise or where VantaShell confirms a billing error, duplicate charge, or payment processing issue.

It is the user's responsibility to cancel the subscription before the renewal date if the user does not want to be charged for the next billing period.

6. Digital Access and Right of Withdrawal

VantaShell products and services are digital and may be delivered, activated, or made available immediately after purchase.

In certain situations, consumers may have a legal right of withdrawal. However, where permitted by law, this right may not apply or may be lost after the digital content or digital service has been provided, activated, downloaded, accessed, or made available with the user's consent and acknowledgment.

By purchasing a VantaShell subscription or digital product, the user may receive immediate access to the service. To the extent permitted by law, by requesting immediate access, the user understands and accepts that the payment may become non-refundable after the service is activated or made available.

7. Technical Issues

If a technical issue affects the ability to use a paid VantaShell plan, the user must contact the support team and provide enough details for investigation.

VantaShell may attempt to troubleshoot the issue, provide a solution, restore access, extend the access period, offer account credit, or take another appropriate measure depending on the situation.

A technical issue does not automatically create a right to a refund. Refunds for technical issues are generally not available if the issue is caused by unsupported systems, local device configuration, third-party service interruptions, network restrictions, revoked credentials, user error, external services, or other circumstances outside VantaShell's control.

Mandatory consumer rights regarding defective digital services or digital content remain unaffected where they apply.

8. Non-Refundable Cases

Except where applicable law provides otherwise, refunds are not available for:

  • change of mind after purchase;
  • non-use of the subscription;
  • partial use of a billing period;
  • unused time remaining in a subscription;
  • failure to cancel the subscription before renewal;
  • account suspension or closure for violation of the Terms of Service;
  • use of an incompatible or unsupported environment;
  • loss of access caused by the user's actions, revoked credentials, misuse, or policy violations;
  • purchases made through marketplaces, resellers, payment platforms, app stores, or other third parties that have their own refund procedures;
  • digital products, downloads, licenses, or features that have already been delivered, activated, or made available to the user.

9. Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges

If the user believes they were charged incorrectly, the user must contact VantaShell through the contact page.

If VantaShell confirms a billing error, duplicate charge, or payment processing issue, VantaShell may correct the charge, issue a refund, offer account credit, or take another appropriate measure.

10. Third-Party Purchases

If the purchase was processed through a marketplace, app store, reseller, payment platform, or another third-party provider, refund requests may need to be handled directly through that provider.

VantaShell may not be able to issue refunds for payments processed outside its direct payment system.

11. How to Request a Payment Review

To request a payment review, the user must contact VantaShell through the contact page and include:

  • the account email address;
  • the payment date;
  • the plan or product purchased;
  • the order, invoice, or transaction number, if available;
  • a short explanation of the issue.

VantaShell may request additional information to verify the account holder, identify the transaction, investigate the technical issue, or prevent fraud.

12. Processing Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be submitted to the relevant payment processor.

The time required for the amount to appear on the user's statement depends on the bank, card network, payment processor, and the user's country.

Approval of a refund does not guarantee that the money will appear immediately in the bank account. Currency conversion, exchange rates, bank fees, or payment processor fees may affect the final amount where permitted by law.

13. Chargebacks and Disputed Payments

If the user believes a charge is incorrect, the user is encouraged to contact VantaShell first so the issue can be investigated and resolved.

Starting a chargeback or dispute through the bank or payment processor may delay resolution and may affect account access while the review is pending.

VantaShell may provide the payment processor with account, subscription, invoice, usage, payment, and support request information when responding to a dispute or chargeback.

14. Changes to This Policy

VantaShell may update this Refund Policy when plans, purchase methods, payment processors, applicable laws, product features, or service availability change.

The updated version will display a new date in the Last updated section.
